Three FHSA 10th Graders, are headed to London as Junk Koutoure Finalists! Visual Art Majors and Technical Theatre majors at Fordham High School for the Arts created sustainable fashion costumes to submit to  the Junk Koutoure competition. Three 10th Graders have advanced to the final round of the competition, where they will travel to London in August to compete against other high school finalists from around the world! Read the web article here!
 
 
Our very own Ms. Hasen was in receipt of the 2022 Cognizant Innovation in Computer Science Education Award and is a 2023-2024 Big Apple Teacher Award Recipient! Ms. Hasen has worked to expand access to a comprehensive Computer Science education at Fordham High School for the Arts. Ms. Hasen has even begun to integrate the arts into her classes, by co-teaching a computer science and dance course for first-year students. Read the web article here!
